Went to the supermarket today and got me some tomatoes. Made grilled cheese again, but added the tomatoes this time. Grilled cheese with tomatoes taste good to me. |

When my friend came for lunch yesterday, we had grilled cheese sandwiches and fruit salad. It was quite tasty. She brought sparkling white grape juice to have with it. I love a grilled cheese sandwich. That's a good looking tomato, Rich. Love tomatoes too.

Right after a big holiday, I enjoy a super simple meal. Looking forward to traditional blackeyed peas, cabbage and cornbread for New Year's Day. Along with that, there will be party foods. I am not going to this party, but they will bring me a plate. I am trying to stay safe and well until I get my vaccination. I think everything will move more smoothly and accurately once Biden is sworn in, and we are rid of trump.

That will be a good meal Foxy. Me too, can't wait until Biden is official, so there will be no more bull from Trump. Going to have some Wolf chili and crackers for the Cotton Bowl game tonight, and Dr Pepper soda LOL |

I love Wolf Brand Chili and like you, "No Beans." I like mine with Fritos and a little blob of sour crème on the side.

Hi Foxy and Cat  Wanted to ask you a question on these Swedish Meatballs I got. Do you think they would be okay with spaghetti and tomato sauce? On the bag it is showing a picture of the meatballs over noodles? I can get noodles, but is there some type of gravy that goes over the meatballs and noodles? I don't know if spaghetti sauce would taste good with it or not. Maybe I can add butter to the noodles with the meatballs? What you you think? Not sure if there is a gravy that goes over the Swedish Meatballs and noodles? |

I don't see why you can't Rich. We often make meatballs and then have them spaghetti and spaghetti (tomato mixture) sauce. But then we often have our meatballs with gravy too. We either make the gravy ourselves or we make it from dried gravy packets we get from the store. Both are good |

Rich, I can't think of a sauce that might be on those meatballs that would not blend with spaghetti and tomato sauce. Go for it!!
Swedish meatball sauce is usually just meat or veggie stock with butter, some spices and cream.

I was not sure, because I was looking at the picture on the bag. I know that you have meatballs with spaghetti, but was not sure because these were Swedish meatballs. I'm going to get noodles and add butter with the meatballs. I'm sure I will like it.

That sounds good to me, Rich. You can do many things with noodles, and pasta of every kind. You can do as many things with meatballs, so however you team them up is up to you and your taste at the moment.

I'm good to go now. Just picked up these egg noodles at the store. Going to boil them in water later and heat up the meatballs in the toaster oven  |

Thanks Foxy, it was good with the butter. But I had these Swedish meatballs with the same noodles I used here long ago, but they had some type of creamy sauce to it. The taste was real good to me. It might have been some TV dinner that had it. Not sure. Can't remember. I don't know how to make any creamy sauces. I can look it up on the net to find out. But I did not want to put a lot of work into preparing my meals lol. I like quick and easy.

I like noodles with butter. Here is something that makes a good cream sauce for lots of things. This package makes 2 cups of gravy I is also good just served on a biscuit or toast.   Country gravy has black pepper. Biscuit gravy does not. Both are Delicious. |

Fusspot (me) here doesn't like nuts in her milk chocolate. But the thought was very nice. Got any chocolate without nuts?
