Sanctuary...
The old poetry boards, Deep in the Old Country of the web, Small cybertowns I have known for decades, A few residents still left, The ghost towns of the mind, These places where only we web poets go, Smell the flowers, Coffee with the neighbors, Share soul and heart, Leave the dogged citadels of social media, I can breathe here.

Dan every time I read this poem I feel a flood of nostalgia for the old boards and the comfort that there are still some around. Great poem my friend.

Dan every time I read this poem I feel a flood of nostalgia for the old boards and the comfort that there are still some around. Great poem my friend. John John, thank you. I am right there with you. I've spent the past two hours posting some of my oldest poetry to *Spell Book*. Barely a dent in the recovery project, but at list I've printed out a checklist of all 1,725. Spome of those will be there already, but some of my best works are the early pieces, and those were completely offline. Dan

Thank you, QF. Indeed it is. I can't get "out to the country" often enough.
