Yes, this is my all time favorite video with Miley Cyrus. When I was new to the net, This was the first female artist music video and for the guys it was a Keith Urban music video.
Sorry that your family member was going through a difficult time.

I'm so glad you liked it, Rich.
Another one I listen to when I am feeling like I am falling short
of what I wish I could be in God's eyes.
And when I wish I was more patient with my mother who suffers from mental illness
and was abusive when my sisters and I were little.
Anyway, a little inspiration like this always helps me.

I'm sorry you also had to deal with abuse.
It's amazing what children can live through
but it's not uncommon to have emotional scar tissue and other issues.
My mother is dealing with having to be in a nursing home permanently now
and it's very difficult for her.
My half siblings who live near her don't really want to deal with her
and her needs. (She is three hours away from where I live.)
So I've been dealing with the nursing home staff over the phone
and trying to smooth things over.
My mother does not make it easy as she can be argumentative and difficult
with the staff.
My two sisters that have the same father as I do,
live on the west coast. But there are forgiveness issues with my mother there, too.
I don't blame them. At all.
But even though our mother was awful to all of us at times,
Someone has to help her.
When she gets ornery and says ridiculous (not in touch with reality) things to me,
I have to remind myself that she can't help it.
Anyway, it has been a difficult time.
I remind myself that she needs my help even when she is being critical of me
and that I should not take it personally.
Thank you so much again for posting that video!

Sorry I just up and left but having some issues again. When I was here last it was the 26th of January, which is my son's birthday. And his mom's birthday is coming up on February 14th, (Valetine's Day) I can't avoid my past.
