Good job on redecorating your forum, Menelaos. It is pleasantly inviting now. It is easier to read and much easier on the eyes. It looks really nice. I wish you much success in finding the right people to populate your community.
I must ask you to remove the link to your board from your personal signature, It violates our rules. This is a copy of sentence 4.

Thanks a lot for your comments and wishes QueenFoxy! I will think deeply on how to develop it. I have also deleted the signature part from Fantasy Castle. Have a great time!

Hello QueenFoxy! What happens if I want to post a graphic, a picture, as a reply somewhere at your threads as a reply? How can I do it on my own the way I see it many times at your forum? The form I write right now only shows a reply button but not any other buttons except from "Post Quick Reply". Looking forward to hearing from you!

I will help you to learn, Menelaos. All the tools you need are at the top of every reply window. First of all, you need to have some interesting images, sorted into folders, on your computer. From your computer, you need to upload them to a photo hosting site. I know of some free ones and I recommend this one: imgbb.com/They are very user friendly and fast as well. You will need to join and set up your account. I have a thread where there is a lot of info where I helped a couple of other members. I think you can learn a few things there. This is the Practice Board: ourfantasycastle.freeforums.net/thread/3376/susan-storing-posting-imagesI will also need to know what Browser you use. I can also help you to find images if you need my help. The best advice I can give you when you start to collect images, is to make lots of folders on your computer and your photo hosting site, and keep your images well organized from the beginning. That is much easier than having re-organize later.

Hello QueenFoxy! I know all that information beforehand, but right now that I type my reply I don't see the menu above the reply box. I can only see it as the main administrator in my forum but not in yours... I tried to enter both as a guest and with my username and password and right now there is nowhere that I can see this menu you mention. Why's that?

But I will have to ask you something QueenFoxy! I have 2-3 members in Writer's PlayBook whom I have not seen yet their activity and they may sign or they may not sign the rules. What am I supposed to do in this case?

They were members since the previous version of the forum...

In such cases, do nothing, Menelaos. If they have not yet posted anything objectionable, they probably will not. If and when they do post something objectionable, you can then refer them to your rules.

Hello QueenFoxy! I've been following your advice in terms of changing the code for mini profile and thread list template. Although I did the exact changes, but at some point the code of Board=>Thread List was different that what the post of proboards suggests, I changed that too according to what they wrote. My image doesn't appear and for you, that I picked up Excalibur on the Rock, the sword of Arthur, shows a black picture. The same one color image appears to whatever photo I put as a URL at the code. Complicated! Had to be reset to default... By the way, why don't you become a member and try to interact more effectively?!?! Papasiiitoooooo, I broke the code of my forum! Looking forward for your reply!

I joined, but you have your board set up where approval is required before I am a member. In my humble opinion, that turns prospective members off.
I do see that you have a photo hosting site already. Good job on posting a couple of images already.
Posting pictures is not at all complicated if you have the right code and use it in the right manner.
BBCode is posted directly to the board and picture does not show until it is posted. It begins and ends this way: [URL=[/IMG][/URL][/font]
Direct links need to be posted in the "Insert Image Box" 7th from right end of tool bar. Direct links will start like this: https:// Will end with image format, .jpg or ,gif or some other.
We'll get there.

Hello QueenFoxy,
ProBoards had informed me that approval is a matter of security reasons to avoid spamming or robots enlisting fake accounts. I had a website at the past and if you don't put security you end up with 10000 fake accounts with non-existing emails that may not be by human hand.
All in all, technology must be taken seriously and a few processes should not be overridden.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

You both have good points - prospective member turn-off and security against robotic activity. We have had a few spammers here once in a while, but Foxy is ever viligent so that this is not a large problem - almost nonexistent, in fact.

To each his own. I experienced that problem on another hosting site, but never at ProBoards. I would lock mine down too, if such a problem should arise.

It's not a matter of the company. It's a matter of who sees your site and decides to mess it up. Furthermore, my only rule for approval the way it is shown in pending registrations are the human data! I don't have other evidence to approve, just a logical username and a logical email. These are the only criteria, as you probably know from the platform. Meaning, prospective members just register their 2 or 3 data, nothing else.

Not a big deal, Menelaos. Just a matter of choice.
