30 Times Jerk Cats Were Publicly Shamed For Their Hilariously Horrible Crimes ~
No matter how adorable and innocent cats may seem, their looks are deceiving. These tiny balls of fur are out of control and they are not planning to learn how to behave any time soon. The least their owners can do is is share their feline friends' mischievousness with other cat owners. The Instagram account @cat_shaming provided them such opportunity. Over the years the account has gathered an amusing gallery of thousands of fluffy 'criminals' and made their misdeeds public. We here at the "Bored Panda Site" prepared a second list of the best offenders because cats will never change their ways! ~

Funny thing about my hauling the cat food is, I walk all over the map so apparently when I walk on the main road with 16 pounds of cat food it's not too unusual a sight!

Might as well ask this here. My cat Pedro will sometimes "play bite" - he'll lick me somewhere on the hand (which I like) then try to bite, not hard so it's probably just play but...why does he do that? Even if it's in play, it's still a little unsettling...

I'm not much of a cat person, Musical, but we have a lot of members who are....and....I bet they can offer some answers.

LOL!! Yes Rick. That last cat was caught staling biscuits. Looks like mighty good eating to me. Glad you enjoyed this thread, Rick. We will see if anyone else has something to add to it.

every cat i have ever had has done that play biting thing...it's because they have so much energy, it's literally a "bipolar high"...ya gotta spend some time and really play with 'em. it's just energy..it helps a lot of you are able to safely let them outside some. fortunately we are able to do that here, it's more rural here but it's still risky. In Las Vegas, my cat Baxter ended up getting hit by a car a block and a half from our house when we lived there. How though is beyond me because it was a 25 mph zone in the neighborhood and where he was hit there was on a side street with nothing but wall on either side of the street, so...it's not like he couldn't have been easily seen, there were no bushes or anything that he could have just popped out from so..it's kinda strange how it happened and i do remember hearing a motorcycle ripping though the neighborhood some that evening. Anyway, as you can tell I am still extremely grief stricken. He was my buddy and Familiar. Rambling, sorry..anyway, if you can safely let them outside that helps so they can work a lot of that energy off but if not you gotta spend some time playing with them so they can burn it off but yes, it is also play on their part doing that. They're not being violent in any way, maybe just somewhat frustrated because they have all that energy in them and no outlet for it. Sorry for blabbing

Musical, most of my cats I have had since birth, and kittens often play rough like that with each other - soft bites with no damage. However, if any of my cats started play biting me, I would just say "ow" and stop playing with them. It soon got to the point that as soon as I said ow, all play biting stopped immediately. It didn't take them long to not even consider play biting humans. My current two play fought with each other when they were kittens, but never once tried to play bite a human so no gentle training was needed. Now that they are almost 2 years old, they just chase each other occasionally and/or just give each other an affectionate head nudge. However, when they want to give me a kiss, they use their paws to pick up a strand of my hair and lick that instead of licking my skin. This is weird in that I have never seen this done before, but it is so sweet Makes me wonder why and if this has something to do with the fact that they never once even tried to play-bite anyone. But maybe it is just their nature. PS: They are brother and sister adopted from the Humane Society on their 4 mth birthday. I think they must have been given a lot of love at the Society. You couldn't ask for more gentler cats.
