I happened to come across a couple of poets who may need some help in learning how to do certain things on ProBoards. Saw their comments Click Here on Poetic Constellations Forum. Someone can help you guys to learn what you need to know. We want you to have the best possible experience when posting in the Castle. If you need some help. just post your questions here. I'm sure someone can help you.

will do. Have a lot to learn. I never thought I would know as much as I do about computers but my brother made me learn things which I am grateful for now as today one needs to know a lot about computers in this society. Still have a lot to learn though so I will take you all up on this. I just have to find the time to do so too.

Michael, right click on the image I have posted and click copy image address. Click insert image icon (7th icon from right end) and insert code in box that pops up. Quick and easy!! You can also post your own from your image hosting site or your computer.

Michael, we have to keep all of this in ONE place or it is going to get really confusing.

I actually need the BB code for an image embed. (The code you see when you edit a post on both ends of the image address.)
The formatting tools used in this thread are not available in the mobile version of the website.
Thank you,
Dan

QF, I have no problem finding the image address. However, this forum uses a non-standard code to embed that image address into posts. I will watch for it the next time I quote a response with an image in it, I should be able to see it then... Dan

There it is. I put an asterisk at the beginning of the code to make it show.
It's the img style="" in brackets that I needed. The max width is an option that limits its display size.
I'll file that code away.
Standard HTML that does this function looks like this:
<img src="" height=xx width=yy>
The forum uses a proprietary "bracket code" to do the same job. That's what I was after.

YAY!! So glad you worked it out, Dan. It is hard with so many different codes and different browsers. Hoped you could find something in that conversation to help.
