tobagganing

on a poetry board i go to, i found this

i did this back in 2012

and the owner put it forward, said it's still a good read

susan 

the tobaggan ride.

let's go for a tobbagan ride, buddy the dog said one fine winter's day

we can do that, bo said, but where can we find one

the kids left theirs in the garage

long forgotten lambie said

let's pull it out buddy said, is it up high.

no it's against the wall

but it's not small whitey said

we can manage boo replied as long as we do it together

the four friends pulled the tobbagan down

and raced to the hills

how do we ride, boo asked

we pull it up the hill

that is the first task

then jump on and ride on down

boo rested his paws on lambie's shoulders

as buddy took up the rear

with whitey at the front, they slid on down

and had so much fun, they did it all over

again
