the last time i did that my little neice was 2, she's now 23 lol..and yes it did feel that way, funny thing was that it never felt that way when i was little

i fell three times, before i finally got the hang of it again....and it was time to go 

my mom taught my sister and i how to skate, dad never knew how, he'd take us to the rink on sundays and just stand and watch, we could skate at the big one because it was family skate, usually they played hockey on it.....

my sister totally forgot how, to skate, she was pushing a chair, lol......and her older daughter 5 at the time, was with her dad, who i think took a few lessons when he was a boy because he could skate circles around us

because it was christmas or boxing day the big rink was open, too

the rink is still here, perhaps it will start to melt by next week, i have heard it's going to warm up, and it's going to be march break, so usually after that

my mom because she grew up in the city had opportunities to skate and roller skate, dad didn't as he grew up on a farm,
