The alchemy of your words makes for deep peace for this city boy. I miss the country and gazing at the stars from a wilderness. Though I may never see such a sight again, the memory of it lives on and is brought back by your enchanting verse.

And a lovely prayer it is, Dip. I remember those times when I was but a wee child, laying on the cool grass, watching the stars by night and clouds by day. There was always magic and you found it in your words.

brian, you should check out the stamps that are the latest of canada post....they have the arora borealis...and some other nature stuff....they were released on june 29
and sharks and whales, an ongoing series...due out july 13
and then the other nature stuff is july 26

Gorgeous writing. The sense of peace that comes from reading this is palpable. I live very close to wine country, and the vinyards are a beautiful setting.
