this is from another forum, but doing it here, without the picture
susan
it's rare, a white deer a spirit one
do you see it in a vision in a dream
does it leap high does it leap swiftly with ease
maybe that's what i should call this spirit deer he who runs swiftly with the breeze
so if you ever see a spirit deer don't try to catch it just close your eyes and let the memory linger
drats, i did have pictures of other deers, but for some reason it won't load on here

I have never seen an albino deer. However, your poem made me see him in my minds eye.

Enchanting in the highest Susan. Your spirit deer is elusive. My eyes would be wide with wonder to see one. Yet you painted the image of this mythical creature vividly with the brushstrokes of your words. This read like a Native American myth. I loved it.

This reminds me of the mediation to find one's spirit guide. An albino deer was a rare one. You made the whole thing vivid to my mind's eye.

Your imagery was crystal clear even without the accompanying pics. I love how your poems read like fairy tales full of wisdom. Enjoyed this thoroughly my friend. John

now that's a beautiful thing to say, thank you
it was for a challenge, in april, on a board that i belong to, 30 poems in 30 days...for poetry month...
thank you john, thank you brian, and so happy to see you back and posting.....
stay cool ok....john, not sure what your temperature is, but where brian and i live, it's hot, as all get out....
i have heard that there was like 15,000 people on parliament hill yesterday for the july 1 festivities, where they usually have like 200,000 don't they, that's how hot it was.......there, and why people didn't come

Great answer to part of the challenge. I've done the 30 in 30 challenges a few times. I still have some of the collections from those. Thank you. I'm getting a little better at it these days. Still just taking things as I can and not worrying about the rest Parliament Hill's celebration was certainly down quite a bit this year. I'm sorry to say it wasn't just the heat that kept people away. Our country isn't what it once was and people don't just know it, they feel it.

glad you're getting better brian
got you....
yes, it used to be packed, but i think that some kept away too because of all the extra security when it was there last year some weren't even allowed in, and i think that's what kept a few away this year...
warrented, it was, but still,
