No thanks, PB. You have done this to me for the LAST time. Take my word for it. You will never again get the chance to deface my images. This started days ago on my board and has caused countless hours of work. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER AGAIN !!!! I want nothing more to do with PB as long as I live. Attachment Deleted

Just thought you guys might like to know the latest in the PB saga. Guys, in my opinion, they are never coming back. They have alienated too many people....and they just keep doing it.

Hmmmm....something has changed today at PB. All images are missing, not just defaced. I could not access PB so I checked to see if they were up and running, I thought they might just have closed my account, but no. This was the answer there:
DOWN
.photobucket.com is DOWN for everyone.
It is not just you. The server is not responding...
So they either have some problems or they are gone. We'll see. I went there looking for some of my images that were missing from Joe's Board.

It’s difficult to have a vibrant community when experiences and expectations of Photobucket are so different. Re-aligning our plan structure is key to bringing us together as the Photobucket community.
Upgrades to premium accounts. Our new premium plans will maintain many of their current features like enhanced image hosting, powerful privacy controls, and an ad-free experience.
New features include:

Increased storage limits for Beginner and Intermediate plans

Safely store your originals - zero image compression

The return of video storage capability (coming 2019)
Upgrades to the Free account We believe our community benefits greatly when everyone has the ability to store and share images easily. To that end, we have increased storage from 2GB to 2.5GB to give our free members more room to grow. Additionally, to make sharing those images a better experience, hosted images are now also utilizing the same high-speed content distribution network as our premium accounts.
Starting 1/15/2019, all legacy free accounts will be moved to the new free plan
The new storage limit will also apply to legacy free accounts that are currently using more than 2.5GB of storage. We will not delete your images if you exceed the storage limit past 1/14/2019. If your account is over its available space, you will not be able to add any new images until you download or delete images until your account meets the new guidelines. If you need more storage you will need to upgrade to a premium account with sufficient space.

I like Fotki too, Vicky, and I love Image Shack. I still have thousands of images stored at PB and go there to get them when I can't find them at Fotki or Image Shack. I will leave them there on a free account as long as they allow it. I will never again spend money with them. They can never again be trusted.

Nope Foxy - the FB logo is still on your Photobucket stored images on this page. I am looking at them right now. The sun one had no logo on it, so I checked its properties, and sure enough, it wasn't a Photobucket stored image, but an Image Shack one.
Photo Bucket? Never again.

Cat I was going by the one above that I just posted, my Proud American sig. It is the one I went there to look for. At least it doesn't have their logo on it.

I think I am thoroughly confused, Cat. I am signed in as Lace and I see no PB logo on my Proud American sig. I see them on all the ones I posted in July and October. I won't post anymore from PB on any other Castle thread but this one. I know I still have sigs at PB that did not get migrated by Fotki. Some of my albums came through empty. Got most of them, but not all. I will continue to check out PB for the ones that are still there. I can still download them to my computer without the logo. Posted 12-12-18
