The survey email arrived soon after. I was happy to answer all of their questions and tell them why I no longer use Photobucket.
Shortly behind that came part 2 of the survey which asked about what Photo hosts I use now, which are my favorites and how pleased I am with their service, storage limits, and fees.
They wondered how much I would consider too much per month for PhotoBucket. From multiple choices, my answer was $4.00. I told them I could not come back at any price because I do not trust them. They hurt too many people,

I closed my account with them at the same time as I joined this board and I can't be bothered with their survey to be honest, not that I've heard from them.

I have a feeling they are hurting and are trying to see what it would take to get some of us back. My subscription just expired on April 24th. All of my graphics on "What's your mood" thread are hosted by Photobucket and I fully expected them to disappear when my subscription ran out. Surprisingly, they are still there. Rather than deleting my account, they simply reverted it back to a free account. Don't know if I can do third party posting, but I guess this is the best time and place to find out. |

OK, I posted that from Photobucket on 4-30-18 @ 10:40 AM. We will see if they replace it with that ugly, black Photobucket image.

No Joanie. There was to be NO 3rd party posting for anyone that did not have the $400.00 account. You could still have free storage but without linking privileges. This interests me and I'm going to see what happens when I post from there, but only on this one thread so I can keep up with it.

Anything I get from PhotoBucket is deleted. It seems that lately they are just saying how great they are and asking me to rejoin. Fat Chance as their ridiculous pricing still stands.

I will never go back there and will never pay them another dime, but I will leave my account open and see what happens from now. I do like having my images stored in many places just to keep them safe.
