You are an excellent liar!  When it comes to lying you are invincible! You have a powerful appearance and you're a charismatic person, so everyone believes you. You've learnt that lies often get you further in life than being honest. It's no secret that everyone lies, but you have really perfected it! I think I might be guilty by omission. I often do not elaborate on a yes or no answer. |

You are more honest than most people!  Every now and again you tell a fib but you're rarely caught. Most of the time you're honest to your loved ones. You highly value an honest and respectful tone with everyone which is why you try and avoid lying. This attitude makes you more honest than most of the people around you! |

This is an interesting subject. I think sometimes we tell a little lie to avoid hurting the feelings of others. I know I would do that. If someone says, "I just love this. Do I look OK in it?" How is one to answer that? She loves it, so I'm gonna say she looks fine whether I think she does or not!! Those little lies do no harm. I would never cheat on my taxes, lie about important things or things that could hurt someone. I am really a very honest person that can be relied upon, but I would not hurt someone by brutal honesty when it really doesn't matter.

I am in total agreement, Foxy; little lies to avoid hurt feelings are things I do not hesitate to do. Brutal honesty is, well ... brutal!

I did say I told white lies as I think they are necessary not to hurt feelings, or if you are trying to keep a surprise event secret - that sort of thing.

I think those things don't fall into the category of a lie. Keeping a surprise is a kindness. You gotta do what you gotta do. And when I say I might lie by omissin, I mean this for when someone asks me about somehing that somone else has confided in me, I omit anything of importance and suggest they call tthe person.

You don't lie very often, but when you do, everyone believes you right away. Most of the time you're honest and straightforward which makes it even harder to see through your lies. This quality has helped you several times, but you would never lie to anyone who is truly important to you.

I will continue right on with my kind little white lies and feel no guilt. I'll also do what I must to protect the surprise element of a surprise party. I can live with that kind of lies.
