Don't like the skin that is set as default? You can have your choice of many that are listed in your profile. We are no longer limited to three. From now on, all our seasonal skins / themes will be listed there.
Click on profile > Edit Profile > Settings---scroll down to "Displays the available theme of your choice" > click the little black arrow and choose the skin / theme you wish to view.
Be sure to save changes.

I think it is nice too, Rick. I only recently had three that were seasonally appropriate, ready at the same time. Maybe I can do that more in the future. You will always have the choice of the seasonal one or our Favorite, "Castle in the Sky."  |

Thanks Cat. It's nice if, for some reason, you just need a change of scenery, you can have it. I have always loved our first "Made for the Castle Skin." It is why I tried to replicate it here at ProBoards. I don't think I will ever get tired of that one. It is home. Still, it is nice to have a choice.

Thank you, Rich. I use my basic patriotic skin for a number of holidays that I think of as patriotic, like 4th of July, Labor Day and also some Canadian Patriotic holidays. I can do this by just changing the banner.
I did have to make a new skin for Time Change. Did not have one for ProBoards and did not have time last year to make one. It is nice that I have some made now in advance of needing them.

Typical me I've only just discovered it and even though we don't celebrate Thanksgiving over here I still like to take part in it on the board. This skin is superb (as per usual) Foxy. Truly great.

From my point of view only the rare holidays we don't share with you - I think Thanksgiving is the only one and I know about that now. I can't wait to see the Christmas or Winter skin. |

I will try to remember to post when I change the skin. We do have some celebrations, like our own week long Strawberry Festival. It is purely a Castle event that is on no one's calendar but ours. |

Thanks, Cat. I just uploaded and activated this one shortly before you did. I wanted to get a look at it before I announce to everyone that it is up. I am just learning that I can now have more than 3 skins listed and stored on site at any one time. That makes it cool. At his moment. I don't know if there is a limit. I will find out soon.

I have just determined that I can store an unlimited number of skins on site now and that is pretty cool. I plan to make some that are just pure fantasy for those who want to use them from time to time, whenever they need a change of scenery.

Morning Vicky. It will be fun to make some fantasy skins. Back in the times of Yuku, we could have a different skin on every forum. Wish we could do that here, but we can't. Even so, It will be nice to be able to change the scenery now and then. Happy New Year, m'lady.

I already had a couple of winter skins almost finished. One is called "Winter Comes To Our Fantasy Castle." The other is simply called "Winter." They are both ready for everyone to choose from.

I think the print is larger - part of the header is missing in the Winter Comes to our Castle one, I love them though, also my signature is off kilter too whereas on the New Year one and the standard Castle one it is dead centre.

I didn't check that one out on my laptop Vicky. I will do that now. They should look the same on all screens these days. That is what so many of today's changes are all about, to make things fit exactly the same on a big desktop and a little phone screen. Thanks for feedback. Sometimes that is necessary.
