Vampire Male and Witch - Shadows Edge

Danielle hung up the phone and muttering to herself, "sure, sure, 180 seconds is more than enough time. Simple! Just open a portal, grab an enraged dragon pursuing none other than her fated mate, break up the fight and have a pre-set portal for two ready for a cross-dimensional return trip into a warded wiccan stronghold in New Orleans. Easy. Want some fires with that?". Spinning around heading towards the door, Danielle jumped when she walked straight into a hulking male, leaning off the doorframe. Iver.

How the hells did he find her? Without moving, Iver peered down, clearly bewildered, at the tiny muttering female who had just walked into him. How would she be able to complete those tasks...this...fragile female. If it was physically possible, as Danielle looked up, she saw his face grow even more stern than before, angling his head downward to look at her. She quickly took a step back followed by his scowl. He rumbled in a deep voice, "do not joke about these things... Witch."

Taken back by his obvious lack of faith in her abilities, Danielle simply fluttered her thick eyelashes several times and crossed her arms, not so graciously, and very loudly scrunching her oversized biker jacket. The nerve of this male. She never took any crap from anyone and she sure as hells was not going to begin with Iver. Confidently she rebutted in her extra patronizing voice, "hey, hey, they don't call me super-witch for nothing."

Iver scoffed, "They don't call you super-witch.". Great Hecate this male wasn't going to know what hit him Danielle thought, as she casually reached up to unpin her long black hair. Did she imagine or did she actually just see his jaw twitch? Go big or go home kids! So she did what any super-witch would do and pulled off her leather jacket in single movement, tossing it to the stone floor. Yes, undoubtedly she was defiantly effecting him now.

He uncrossed his arms to unconsciously rub his right palm leisurely over his mouth. Her black hair tumbled down her shoulders and she could almost physically feel his gaze rolling over her. Did she put on her tight fitting and low cut red button up singlet just because she knew she might see him today? Of course not. Standing tall, chin up and looking Iver right in his eyes, she lazily said "Oh honey but they will." Danielle smirked when she stepped backward into her scheduled portal. The last thing she saw was that tall, bronzed and handsome vampire's jaw hit the flaw. 🦄

Tanzania, East Africa 10 years ago. Zayra woke to the sounds of birds and low murmurs. She stretched her limbs under the covers bumping her foot on what felt like a weighted box on top of the sheets. "What the hells." Her eyes flashed open as she pulled herself upright. She squinted her eyes when a piercing ray of sunlight hit her face followed by a rising sun seeping through the gaps in her curtains. "Why are they awake?". Her coordination was lagging, and her body was still half asleep as she threw her legs over the side of the bed. Glancing at the now demystified oversized suitcase she exhaled "shit, where now?". "Were they ever going to settle, why this incessant need to travel?". As she began to walk over the cool marble tiles to her parent's room a brief thrill of inquisitiveness overwhelmed her to listen into their conversation. Although only 12 she could tell that their previous explanations were heavily filtered to a child friendly version of the truth. At times she was grateful that they presented the P.G. versions to her overly sensitive younger sister shielding her from the brutalities of a corrupted continent. She knew she was young but felt much older which gave her further justification to listen in on their conversation. As quietly as she could manage Zayra walked toward her parents open bedroom door trying to mute out all the chirps of what seemed like flocks of bird from outside. "I can't live like this anymore Phil, we need a change, it's not safe here. I haven't had a decent night's rest in years." Zayra pressed her back against the plastered wall next to her parent's bedroom door knowing where this conversation would lead and let herself slide down to a seated position. She heard a suitcase being zipped up and papers being rustled followed by her father's exaggerated exhalation. "So, its decided we leave, move away and begin our new lives somewhere safer. The girls will adjust in time. If all goes well with the interviews it will be sooner rather than later." Zayra thought that her heart skipped a beat and had sunken into her stomach. She never wanted to leave her home, the land called to her, it had a spirit of creation that she was drawn to, as far as she was concerned it was her home. As her head fell into her hands a hushed voice whispered from above her "Little girls shouldn't listen into grown conversations". Maya. Zayra's parents, the Webbers, were a well-established family within the community which left them overworked and desperately in need of help around the house. Maya was the family's third governess she'd been with them for almost three years now and as far as Zayra was concerned she was practically part of the family. Maya carried her usual tray of tea, coffee and an assortment of breakfast items clearly on route to Mrs and Ms Webbers rooms. Standing Zayra grinned "just curious Maya". Out the corner of Zayra's eye she spied a letter on the tray, quickly her smile dropped and without hesitation she reached over and snatched it up. "Hey!" Maya snapped in a genuinely surprised voice. Then more quietly leaned over her tray whispering "child that's not for you! You'll get us both in trouble!" Zayra exhaled "fine but let me see who it is from.". Turning the letter over it read: 'From: The National Department of Australian Immigration'. Zayra could feel the warmth leave her face as she placed the letter back onto the tray and turned away. This meant one thing. It was happening. She was going to be ripped from her land in tow of a new life. She knew this country, scratch that, the continent, was dangerous but it's all she knew. Her parents had applied to immigration two years ago and the process was gruellingly slow that Zayra has assumed it would never really happen. Turning on her heels she ran into her parent's room. "We are leaving, aren't we?" her eyes had gone teary, but she fought back the lump in her throat. "God morning Zayra." her father breathed in a condescending manner without looking up from his desk. "Yes" he said decisively as he signed a paper followed by dotting his signature loudly. It may as well of been a judge's hammer hitting the desk for Zayra knew what the ink on paper meant. Done. Her mother walked towards Zayra, her hair gleaming in the morning sun. Clair had deep brown eyes that complimented her dark auburn hair, she almost as tall as Phil although with a leaner build than his. She had a beautiful laugh that was rich and melodious but was let down by the dark circles under her eyes. "It will be a fresh new start for us, somewhere you can grow up." Zayra crossed her arms and breathed quietly "I don't want to grow up.". She knew this conversation was pointless. As she turned for the door she exhaled in a louder voice "I'm going to the stables.". Her horse was Zayra's escape, an embodiment of freedom, nothing she had known could compare to riding through the wind at unreasonable speeds. Grabbing a pair of jeans out of her wardrobe she pulled them on followed by a black t-shirt, boots and snatched up a book on her bedside table. Zayra's horse was flighty and debatably untrained, which meant she spent more time walking with and reading to him than riding, she never half minded. For as long as Zayra could remember she was drawn to books, more particularly, fantasy. She had an overly active imagination even for a child. She would read on her balcony at night in her attempts to attract Peter Pan or some willing garden fairies. Desperate to be able to fly she would run as fast as her legs allowed jumping off small mounds in the gardens launching herself into the air. In the short seconds where she didn't touch the ground, ecstasy. Zayra felt most like herself when her long honey-blonde hair was blowing through the crisp wind and when lightning storms rolled in over Kilimanjaro. The dormant volcano that was nicknamed the 'Roof of Africa' and as the thunder quacked the proud mansions she felt as though it was charging her hitting Zayra like a frenzied sugar rush. 🦄

Amoung the Rooftops

As we sail through open air towards the roof below us, I can't help but smile. Jumping from roof to roof is a very normal here in Clan W, for most of the elevators don't work. We were lucky to ride one up here. We both land on the metal roof at the same time, both finishing the fall with a roll, for it helps break the fall. Without hesitating we jump to the next roof, which is about 15 feet below us. As soon as we reach the main city roofs, we walk along them until we reach our own house. As it comes to view, the sun disappears. I open the door and pat Jupiter on the back.

"Good job" I exclaim.

Jupiter yawns in reply and I feel affection for him run through me. I sweep him up in my arms and carry him to his bed on the floor. I set him on it and kiss his forehead.

"Sleep well, you have a big day tomorrow"

I stand up and survey our apartment. Blue wallpaper is falling off the walls and the floor need's swept. Our home isn't much to look at, but it is everything to me and my brother. Its where the memories of our parent's lurk. I grab a broom and start to sweep the tile floor, which is cracked and losing its paint. Sometimes I wish I could do better for my brother, give him all the things he wants. I open the door and sweep my pile out of the house.

I am so startled by Asher's appearance that I jump back into the house. He is leaning off of our roof, only his head showing. I shh him and close the door behind me, I don't want Jupiter waking up. He jumps down beside me and laughs, his blue eyes twinkling. The lights of other apartment's shines down on us, so I can see his face clearly. His black hair is tousled and ruffled, and I guess that he just finished work. Asher is two years' older than me and works as a guard at the Electricity compound. He is very serious about his work, usually only talking about it when he is disappointed with the new leaderships. He is my only friend, because he's the only kid I played with when I was little. He has always been there for me when I've needed him.

"So, what job did you pick?" Asher asks.

"I am going to be a S.O.C"

Asher eyes widen and his face breaks into a huge smile.

"That's great! You will get an awesome pay!" He exclaims.

I smile, but inside, my stomach is a mess of butterflies. Asher seems to notice. He clasps my hand.

"What's wrong?" he asks worriedly.

"Jupiter is starting school"

Asher chuckles.

"Don't worry about that, he will be fine" he assures me.

I nod, but deep down inside of my heart, I am worrying like the devil.

I wake up the next day to loud pounding on the door. I am surprised for a moment, but I regain my sense's quickly. I jump to my feet and shake Jupiter awake, who is snoring peacefully.

"Get dressed" I order him, turning to open the door.

A man is standing in my doorway, tapping his foot impatiently. I smile and quickly close the door behind me,

"Are you Miss Sky Arta?" he asks, looking me over.

I nod, swallowing nervously. This man is going to take Jupiter to school? What does my little brother need, a bodyguard? He looks to be about 6 feet tall, and is wearing a dark blue security suit which is a sign of power in all of the Clans. But what catches most of my attention, is the AK-47 strapped to his back and the pistol attached to his belt. He seems to notice me staring because the ends of his mouth tip upwards into a smile.

"It's part of the job" he says, putting a hand into his pocket.

I slowly nod, but I have no idea why a soldier needs to escort my brother to elementary school. There hasn't been any news of the Untamed ones breaking into the city for months.

"Are you ready?" he asks, glancing at my clothes.

Understanding floods into my mind, and I immediately feel embarrassed. He's here for me, not for Jupiter. My cheeks grow hot.

"Just one minute" I mutter, going back inside.

I change quickly, choosing a black t-shirt and sweatpants that will be easy and comfortable to move in. I didn't know that S.O.C's were so armed. My heart starts to beat faster when I realize that sometime I will have to learn how to use a gun, maybe even today. I put back my stubborn brown hair into a tight ponytail and check myself in the mirror. Bright green eyes stare back at me, and I smile. I got my eyes from my mother. Everyone always said that we looked like sisters. A tug at my shirt jerks me from my thoughts.

"There's a scary man outside"

I look down to see Jupiter staring up at me fearfully. I bend down and kiss his blonde head, worry piercing my thoughts. I don't feel comfortable with leaving him here alone, especially if his escort doesn't show up. I walk over to the door and open it, jumping slightly when I see the man standing there. He tips his head when he sees me, his dark blue eyes filling with an unreadable emotion. I shift uncomfortably under his gaze.

"Uhhh, could we wait to go until my brother's escort comes?" I ask, opening the door slightly more to reveal Jupiter.

The man smiles and shifts the gun on his back.

"You know; I can take him. We can stop at the school on the way to the compound"

I breathe out steadily and ruffle Jupiter's hair.

"That would be great"

The man stretches out a hand and I take it, shaking firmly and gripping his hand hard. My dad taught me that a handshake tells a lot about a person, so I am going to strive to make a good impression.

"The name's Christian, I'm a trainer of the new's"

"I'm Sky. It's nice to meet you"

Christian's eyes grow confused for a moment, and he motions to Jupiter.

"You're Sky and Jupiter? You stayed with us for while after your parents died...remember?"

I immediately feel my heart turn stone, and my expression turns cold. I place a comforting hand on Jupiter's shoulder and stare straight into Christian's eyes.

"Can you lead the way?" I ask, demanding more than asking.

Christian nods, frowning slightly. I drape an arm around Jupiter as we follow him, trying to get rid of Christian's question that is lurking in my mind. I do remember that day. The day when my parent's died. I was up on the rooftops, looking out toward Clan S. It was a beautiful day, too beautiful for death. I heard the crash. It echoed throughout the whole city, and I immediately knew that something was missing. Something was torn from my heart that day. I ran all the way home, finding Jupiter there crying. Two S.O.C employees were with him, and I knew that they were gone. I knew they were taken from us forever. They took us to the compound, explaining to me that we had to stay for a while. I didn't understand, and was confused. After a week, I wanted to leave. Since I was old enough to take care of Jupiter on my own, they granted my request. I don't really remember the compound that we stay at, since I cried in bed most of the time.

Christian's voice shatter's my thoughts, and my grip tightens on Jupiter when I see the Elementary school in front of us. Kids and parents are everywhere, and I guess that its registering day. Some parents are sending me icy glares, and I return them evenly. Christian places a hand on Jupiter's shoulder and crouches down beside him.

"You don't need to sign up little buddy, you are all paid for. All you need to do is find the 1st grad classroom. It's the first door on the left" he explains.

I open my mouth as Jupiter kisses me on the cheek and walks toward the school, not even looking frightened or concerned. I take a step toward him but is stopped by Christian's hand. I glare at him, and he returns it evenly.

"He has to find a way for himself. He has a hard future ahead of him"

I watch as Jupiter strides into the school. I swallow back the tears that are coming to my eyes. I wish that he didn't have to grow up so fast.

"He'll be alright" Christian assures me, his voice softening.

I sniff and spin around.

"Where's the compound" I demand.

Christian puts a hand on his belt and points his head towards a very large concrete building in the distance. My eyes widen. The End 🦄

Crawl to Insanity

The alarm on my phone goes off next to my head. I don't know why I even bother. I'll just keep hitting snooze until I realize I'm late. Thinking about this has woken me up enough, so I'll stay up. I get up from from my bed and head to the shower. About half way through the shower, the water turns cold. I'm forced to finish up with freezing water and I'm now fully awake.

I get dressed and go looking for eggs in my fridge to make an omelet. All I find is an almost empty milk carton and some leftover lasagna. I grab the milk and pour myself a bowl of cold cereal. After a couple of bites, I start to get a headache. It's minor, but I decide to take an aspirin and bring a couple with me to work.

I sit at the bus stop with my briefcase waiting for the bus. I'm scrolling through my phone when I get a text. It's from my girlfriend. Maybe she got the job she applied for. I open the text messenger and look at the message. She did get the job, but it seems that she does't need me anymore now that she makes a lot of money from her new job. She broke up with me over text. My blood pressure starts to rise when the bus comes.

I get on the bus and the only seat left is next to some old lady on the phone. I sit there and hear all about this women's day. Apparently she woke up to her husband breaking the blender and the dog crapping on the rug. Then she had to sit next to this smelling old black dude who was here before me. She says some unfriendly words about the black man before she starts trash talking me. It's like she does't care that I'm sitting right there. I think about grabbing the bitch by the throat and teaching her a lesson on manners when we then we reach my stop. I get off and head for my work building.

My headache seems to be getting worse as I walk towards my building. I pop a couple more aspirin before heading into the building. I start to head towards the elevator when I notice a sign on it. It's out of order. I start to go up the stairs. My phone buzzes in my back pocket and I pull it out. It's a text from my asshole coworker, Todd. It's the naked backside of my ex-girlfriend. In the picture, it's still dark outside. So that means this was taken last night. So she broke up with me after she slept with him.

I walk into the office and I see Todd.

I see the pathetic coward of a little guy make it up the stairs. My 'Out of order' sign seemed to have fooled him. I laugh until he walks up to me. His eyes, mostly his right, have some popped veins. In his left eye they seem random. But in his right, it's weird. At the top of his iris, the red, popped veins in his eye are shaped like a tree. At the bottom of his iris, it looks like the root of the tree.

"You look like one crazy son of a bitch!" I exclaim.

"Crazy? YOU CALL THIS CRAZY? I'll show you crazy!" He says, laughing as he does it.

He reaches out his hand and grabs my throat. He lifts me up and pins me to the wall. I stare into his eyes when it all turns black.

I'm falling. That's the only way to describe the feeling. It's like falling in a never ending hole and I'm screaming the whole way down. Suddenly, it's like I'm transported into a new world. I'm still falling when I see the monstrosities. I just can't describe them any other way. They have long and grotesque limbs with unblinking, cold, dead eyes. They stare into my very soul until I hit the ground.

Hitting sounds a little too harsh. It's more like I stopped. I stand up and look around. All I can see it blackness. Not darkness, I can see myself clearly, but around me is darkness. That's when a massive face appears in front of me.

"Hear me mortal, for I am the essence of insanity. You were sent here by one of my Apostles of Insanity. His sanity was torn down bit by bit until I had full control of him. You are here for a reason. When you awake, you'll be in a different world. One full of wonder. But sadly in your world you'll be dead. If you ever return, I'm afraid God would like to claim your soul. So don't return. But you'll make a new life with new friends! You will go on a quest! The quest for the Philosopher's Stone. Go and find it. Goodbye."

"What the hell," was all I was able to think before I blacked out. The End 🦄

Hope was mine and not her's. She was my baby, my baby that she wanted and I never wanted her to get close or even touch her. If she touched my baby I would bit her a turn her into a dead witch and not an almighty vampire and wolf which is a Hybrid of them both. She was never getting my baby. Dehlia maybe a powerful witch but she was a bitch who is out to get my Hope all because I was brought into the messed up Mikaelson family. And I had to have a kid with Nicklaus and now also be part vampire that is Screwing annoying.

Let's get this straight Mikaelson consists of Rebekah Mikaelson (vampire) who is in witch form after a battle played out by her and her mother Ester. Elijah who is still a vampire and partly in love with me and I partly am with him and then lastly Marcel who has helped us get away from Dehlia and is very loyal to the Mikaelson's.

The Mikaelson's sometimes get along but not all the time ever since Freya a sister they never knew they had as now appeared but I just want Hope to have a happy childhood and not worry about magic, witches wolves or vampires. I just want her to have a childhood I never had one where her family doesn't abandoned her like my family did to me. That is what I definitely don't want to happen to Hope.

The best which of them all is Davina she would be great helping Hope grow up with magic and then there is Sabrina who is Rebekah's adopted kid. Sabrina's parents were murdered by Witches as Sabrina was the first trybid and the witches wanted her but sabrina run as she witness the murder of her parents .she ran for her life and Rebekah found her and trained her and that is when they found she was a tybird and that she was not able to control her power and they were uncertain that she was able to control her inner wolf and while she would become the most and first of her kind. Her father was a vampire and wolf and mother a wolf she was part of my pack the crescent pack. The crescent pack were cursed and Sabrina was able to control her powers she undid the curse made a another witch. She would be a great help to Hope as then she would be able to help Hope control all her powers and her inner wolf more than any of us would be able to do as trybid's are very dangerous as they grow up as we learnt from watching Sabrina grow up.

Hope's life is endangered and I don't what to have to die. And I need to run from this place the Mikaelson's call a home. It's a nightmare they never get on and I don't want Hope to grown up in the hands of Dehlia and Klaus.

Running out to the Bayou was the place they might not look and if they do the wolves will be ready and take them down. We will murder them if we have to Klaus using the white oak stake if Davina lets us have it if not the old fashion to injury him and Dehlia we will rip apart from bone to bone and then there will be nothing left of her.

"Klaus you here to steal my baby, we'll think again." I growled gritting my teeth and staring directly at his eyes. Showing him that I was dangerous and would protect Hope with all my life. Then right behind him was Dehlia looking like a green eyed monster staring at my Hope. I have a tingling sensation in bones as Klaus and Dehlia advance forward. I myself advance as so far Jackson is acting a wimpy wolf but I know he would fight for me and Hope and not let Kalus stand in his way.

In vain I looked at Delia who was goggling my kid the only person that I would protect with my life. I turned into the monster Kalus is always ourselves the Hybrids. I wanted to rip her apart and shredder her to bits. But as I tried my bones started to crack and so did my pack's bones. I heard the crushing and I yelped in pain and in eyes and all the bones in body started to transform to the horrific form that I used to turn every full moon but now thanks to Klaus I turn human every full moon.

Now I finally have Hope I can bring her up the way I want her to now that Haley is gone I can raise her the way I want to. Hope is the best person in my life and I want Hope to have the best childhood ever now that Hailey has been taken care of and so has her pack of wolves. There is no one stopping me take care of the kid they way I want to now.

"Freya I need you to take care of Hope while I go and do an errand". I called form the hallway on my way out. I need to talk to Luke and ask him to see my future as last time I had a bad omen. The witch Teddy said I would die by either family friend or foe and I want to be sure.

"Klaus I have looked after Hope for so long while you have Elij....."

"Don't speak his name in the present of me and take care of Hope, Freya"

I was in rage as Freya tried to deify me I am a god but then she is older than me.

I still will not let Dehlia as Hope is now in safe hands and away from Hailey and her stupid and pathetic wolf pack. I will kill Dehlia and she will die if she gets her hands on my Hope.

Dehlia maybe my aunt but she a Screwing bitch and she will never get Hope. At least I have put her in a deep sleep.Then I shall struck and kill her.

Enough talk about Dehlia. Hope, I felt was my biggest achievement as she as was born from me and I was overjoyed .

Hope was the one person who didn't get as say either she stayed with me or not and I loved her for that was a baby and would now stay with me.

What was that. A loud bang from Hope's room. I went to inspected it. Hope was gone.

I cried but no one heard me. She was gone and it was my fault. I bet Hailey has taken her. Wait how as she is a wolf there is no way. Dehlia. Dehlia it was must be her.

She has wanted this kid as long as Hope has been alive. And now I have Hope I am an easy target as I love Hope and I put Dehlia under a sleeping spell she may be trying to get to my Hope. I hope not.

I searched for her but there was no sign. It was if she disappeared from the centre of the earth and has taken Hope with her.

Then as I was walking back home I saw a woman in a black robe carried a baby the baby looked dead and as I walked closer towards the woman I realised she was Dehlia and the dead baby Hope. 🦄

A Bad Day Today

"I'm late I have to leave bye." I shout at the top of my lungs to my parents as I shut the front door. I head to school. My school was literally two blocks away so it wasn't too far of a walk.

I did however put my headphones into my ears and listen to some music for the walk. "Burn it to the ground" by Nickelback came on. I started lip singing the whole way. Once I got onto school grounds I put my phone away and heard the school bell ringing.

"Damn! I'm late." I think to myself as I open the door our principle... "principle Sapfire" greeted me. "Late again are we? I'll see you after school Miss." he said to me. "Yeah wouldn't miss it for the world," I replied back.

As I walked into class our teacher was writing down her lesson plan on the whiteboard. I looked at the board and fear came a cross me as I read in big red letters

"ESSAY DUE TODAY"

"Sorry I forgot, My teacher turned to me. There was a quick pause and she said "would you care to read the class your essay?" "I Uhh...I'd love to but I Uhh..."

"what's wrong," she said You didn't write one? This was half your grade! I'm afraid I will have to give you a zero for the assignment."

"I did do it I swear I just left it at home...this weekend was rough. I lied.

"Ok bring it tomorrow and I will grade it. But you need to understand it is important to get work done on time if this was your actual job and you did this then you would get fired." The teacher lectured." After the lecture the class laughed at me as I stared down at the desk I was sitting in.

The bell rang and I left the room. Walking the crowded halls of the high school I got to my locker and punched in my code. I got my books for my next class as I left my locker Amanda walked in front of me and hit my books out of my hand on purpose. "Watch where your walking, Slut," she said to me.

Amanda was the most popular girl in the school. UGH! I don't see how she is rude and the only reason she has friends is because her family is filthy rich. I bend down and picked my books up.

I look over someone was standing over me. It was Patrick. He is my boyfriend. "Hey Sarah look what I scored on the radio." He handed me two concert tickets. "No way! Tickets to Red Hot Chilli Peppers? How" the radio station I was listening too asked fans to recite song lyrics to one song of there choosing and I called in and won them." That's awesome! I said. "It's Friday night, I'll pick you up around 5." Yes. I say.

This day got a little better. I walked into my next class. Smithers was sitting on the desk. "Smithers" is our art teacher. "Ok class I'm in the middle of a bad hangover so today do whatever the heck you want as long as it's art related." I looked over at Patrick who was already in the middle of drawing one of his cartoons on paper.

I went through my purse and grabbed out my makeup kit. I looked at myself threw the mirror. Amanda was about to throw something at me. A few seconds went bye and I felt a piece of paper hit me. I looked back at her she was looking in the other direction.

I glared and then grabbed the paper off the ground and un crumpled it. It read "BITCH" I tore it up and walked over to the garbage can and threw it away. I sat back Down. The bell rang.

"Ahh would someone turn that off Now?" Smithers said practically falling off his desk. We got up and left the classroom. It was lunch time now. I waited in line and got a chicken sandwich with a side of French fries and carrots. I grabbed a milk and water bottle.

I walked down the rows of tables looking for a place to sit. Almost everybody ignored me or put bags down next to there empty seats to avoid having me sit by them. I found a seat next to a garbage can. And started to eat.

A few minutes later mashed potatoes hit me in the face. I dropped my tray along with my lunch it hit the floor. Everyone in the cafeteria laughed. I stood up and ran towards the bathroom. As I slammed the door to the cafeteria open I hit the principal in the face. He was mad and sent me to the office.

This was by far one of the worst days of my life. After lunch I was in his office listening to his boring lecture. "He asked why I had mashed potatoes on my face?" Because One of the students thought it would be funny to throw them at me. I havnt gotten a chance to wash it off." The principal said ok.

And told me to go wash it off. I walked into the bathroom and saw Amanda was in the room looking at herself in the mirror. She laughed as she saw me and said "you sure do love making a fool of yourself."

"Not on purpose and why do you pick on me?" I asked. "I do it because I have too I have to make your life miserable. It's my job.

She laughed and exited the bathroom. I cupped my hands and washed my face. The bell rang and it was time for the last class of the day History.

After history was over I reported to The detention room. The principal felt bad for me and told me to go home. I exited the school and went home. It was a bad day.🦄

"The Winter Butterfly"

Many moons had passed. The seasons had begun to change. Falling leaves gently touched the misty ground making a stained glass image across the fields. Yellow and burnt oranges, deep purples and rusty browns, an array of earth's bounty of colors and smells abound.

The signs of the first frost were evident. That certain crisp clean air that tingles your nose and cools your lungs deep down. Natures own vaporizer. The time had come for summer flowers and plants to hibernate.

The geese were flying south towards warmer airs and the winter birds have taken the place of the robins. Oh Mr. Cardinal, so merry and red, how you brighten the brown, lifeless branches with your suit of ruby. You, like the holly berries are almost fluorescent when the first snow kisses the scenery.

The story goes that when the winter clouds fill the nights and the sun goes to sleep, the time has come for the Winter Butterfly to arrive. Only those chosen by Mother Nature herself are allowed to float thru the frosty air.

Because the butterfly usually appears among the flowers and bushes on warm sunny afternoons, there is a magical mystical change that Mother Nature herself must produce. As each winter butterfly is chosen, they are graced with a kiss and a coat of ivory.

Then they are adorned with their special armor to protect and shield them from harm. They have 24 hours to float around the air with one exception...they must wait for the very first snowflake to fall. Then and only then can they appear. So, when the first snow falls from it's home in the sky, the Winter Butterfly dances the snowflake ballet.

If you really look close, maybe you will catch a glimpse of one of the chosen wonders. Which are snowflakes and which are the dreamy creations? Look closely, can you see me? 🦄

The Boy and the Fairy Ring

Once there lived a little boy who very much enjoyed sneaking away into the wood by his House

. His Mother always warned him to never go alone and never at night, or the Faeries may get him and take him away. The boy didn't pay much attention.

One day, the boy was wandering around the Wood, again ignoring his Mother's warning. He heard music in the distance. He remembered what his Mother had told him, but his curiosity was too great and he followed the sound. As he got closer he heard flutes, drums, singing and laughing. It sounded like a grand time.

Finally, he saw them. Little people of all sorts dancing in a circle. They had pipes and drums and lutes and bells. They threw dust about that glimmered in the light of the moon. Some road upon Dragonflies and others were dancing with the flowers. Even the Blue Bells looked alive.

The boy was so entranced he got closer. It was as if the little people were calling him to join. He found himself standing in the middle of the ring. All the little Faeries flew around him, offering cookies and cakes and wine. He took them all. Then in a moment, they were all gone.

When the boy didn't return home his mother went out looking for him. She searched the wood for hours until she came upon the place where the faerie ring had been. Now it was just a burnt looking patch. Nearby, she found her son's cloak. She knew right away what had happened.

She went to town to the blacksmith and asked for a bag of Iron powder.

That night, she went back into the wood, to the spot she had found her son's cloak. There she saw them, the little people, dancing in delight. But she did not see her son. She approached the ring and spoke.

"You have my son. I want him returned."

The Faerie folk continued to revel in the moonlight. Dancing and singing, drinking and laughing. The woman spoke again.

"You have my son. I want him returned."

One little Faerie flew up and held out some food.

"Won't you eat with us? The cakes are lovely."

The woman refused and simply said, "You have my son. I want him returned."

Another little faerie flew up and held out a golden goblet.

"Please, won't you drink with us? The wine is the sweetest you've ever tasted."

Again the woman refused and simply spoke, "You have my son. I want him returned."

This time three little faeries flew up.

"Won't you dance with us? The music is amazing. It will ease your pain."

Again, the woman refused.

"You have my son. I want him returned."

"He doesn't want to leave," the faeries replied, "he's happy here eating our cake and drinking our wine."

The woman started to cry and asked if she could at least see her son one last time. The faeries took pity and when the woman looked again, she saw her son.

He was dancing with the little folk, laughing and having a joyous time. She ran to him and wrapped him up in her arms.

She turned and revealed the little pouch she had received from the Blacksmith and reached inside, pulling out a bit of the powder. All the faeries cringed and cowered with fear. For faeries fear not much, more than Iron. She held out her hand, exposing a black pile in the middle of it, and blew. The little people screamed in pain and horror.

"Please, no more!" Cried the faeries. "Take your boy and leave. Just, please, NO MORE!"

In the next moment, the faeries were gone. The boy stood with his mother in the woods alone. The moonlight shone brightly through the trees. The End 🦄

The Fairy Princess

Preface

Princess Pamela of Fairy Island has been hiding out in the human world. Santa and Mrs. Claus used Sammy, the elf to locate her.

Walking down a modern busy street, Princess Pamela was aware of several admiring male glances. More than one of them reminded her of Prince Peter. She had run away from Fairy Island to avoid a pre-arranged marriage to him. The parents of both families had the two of them engaged since they were infants. Since fairies mate for life and live several thousands of years, Pamela could not imagine spending the rest of her entire life with Peter. She was aware many younger humans lived together and had children without being married. They were even able to marry members of their own sex. Those who considered themselves transgender, choose to change. Males would become females, whereas females became males. "Humans live in a confused and mixed up society. Such relationships do not even exist on Fairy Island. Humans enjoy a greater freedom but are much less contented." She pondered silently to herself. "If I was so happy living on Fairy Island, why did I leave in the first place?"

She bumped into a slender young man wearing bifocal eyeglasses. She knocked his bifocals off of his nose. Since he was unable to see without them, he became legally blind. To make matters worse, Pamela crushed his eyeglasses beneath her spiked high heeled shoes. "I can't see!" he cried aloud. "Is there anything wrong?" asked a young police officer. This clumsy young woman bumped into me and broke my bifocal glasses! And I am totally blind without them!" "And what do you have to say for yourself?" questioned the officer. "I wasn't looking where I was going! It was an accident! I swore to God, it wasn't my fault!" The officer looked at a beautiful young woman with long black hair and stylish clothing. Next, he looked at the young and slender man. He wasn't short or tall, he was of medium height. His thinning light brown hair had a receding hairline. His clothing looked as if he had worn it for quite some time.

"Ms what are your name and address and phone number?" "My name is Pamela Prince, I am a visitor and have no phone number." "What is your occupation?" "I don't have one." "What was your former occupation? "I have never had a job in my life." "What is your source of income, then?" "I don't have any income." "Do you honestly expect me to believe all of that?" "I just happen to be telling the truth." She reached down and picked up his glasses from the sidewalk. But when she picked them up they were no longer broken. She had used her fairy magic for the first time in the human world. The bookish-looking young man was surprised, and so was the police officer. While they were busy looking at the eyeglasses she handed the young victim, Pamela walked away.

Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus witnessed the entire event very carefully through their snow globes. "Princess Pamela has just helped us locate her. I am glad we decided to send Sammy the elf to the city after all." Sammy the elf was not the police officer. He was the bookish young man with bifocal eyeglasses. "What do we tell the King and Queen of Fairy Island?" "Tell them the truth, of course, Princess Pamela has decided to visit the human world. She is not the first fairy to do this and she will not be the last!" When the officer turned his back, Sammy the elf disappeared. He reappeared in his red and green working elf uniform at the North Pole. "Well done, Sammy!" "Fairies like to think they are so much smarter than we elves are. I have been using the same broken eyeglasses trick on them for a lot longer than I care to remember!" The police officer looked around briefly for the young man. When he could not find him, he simply shrugged his shoulders. He probably was so embarrassed, he decided to lose himself in the crowd of people. As for the young woman, he figured she did the same thing.

Princess Pamela had watched the young man disappear. Since he wasn't a fairy, he must be an elf. She had just fallen for one of the oldest tricks in the books. Santa and Mrs. Claus must have sent him to try and find her. Of course, her parents contacted them! What should she do now, change her appearance again? It would not do any good, they could not force her to marry a man she could never love! Love! Faries did not marry for it, but for tradition. What could she do? Her parents would never consent to her marrying a mere human. If she ever did, they would completely disown her. For now, she was happy....and free to choose LOVE. 🦄

The Pilot

This is the story of The Pilot in myth. It's reasons are inevitable when the lines of unreal and real cross the void of everything that is existing.

Dan Horlicks came out to the humidity in the middle of the night, waiting for the paper to arrive on the front door. The guy that brings the papers goes by the name of Vernon Durst that is fifteen years his senior, living in an old Streamliner and driving a Chevy Citation that is more than thirty years old with one of the brake light dimmers busted out from a rogue rock some time back. Dan Waited as he noticed that his right shoe is undone, knowing that his shoelace length is supposed to be 36 inches when the factory shoelace broke from the many tensions of tying it. He replaced it with a 56 inch that he got from another shoe as it slightly matched the color of his original shoe lace color as the night only contained the images of pace that only dwelled in the mind of someone witnessing it, relishing it, foreseeing the darkness that blends it all in shades that cannot be noticed in dark corners.

Dan is a god-fearing boy, a boy with grace as he shines his smiles upon everyone as he went to church every Sunday and prayed over the Psalms that he learned every Wednesday after the basketball conferences that is held in many school gyms around the tri-state area. Dan only stayed up on this night for this much is that it is Friday and he likes to get the papers out before the light of Saturday morning comes over the eastern horizon when the night gets colder than what it was an hour ago.

He stayed in his spot on the porch, tending to look over at his neighbors lot that is on the opposite side of the street where the flowers bloom in the wooden box that is chest high that hung on a lantern hook that he bought in a dollar store somewhere. The only light that is on over in his house is the porch light that burns all night as he kept the door closed but not locked.

There are no worries here. We are in the light of the lord.

Dan flushed his hands into his pockets, beginning to whistle a tune that stretch across the quiet night with the fireflies out circling about, making shapes in Dan's field of vision as they angled and danced, angled and danced with no movement being the same. Mere incidences happen in the night as Dan could only hear the sound of his breathing, coming in and going out as he heard the sound of a car in the distance that drove slow, hoping not to wake the neighbors when Dan waited for Vernon Durst and the square headlights that come into his vision for the papers to be released so Dan can breathe a sigh of relief as moments before the sun came up. He checked the air in his bike tires and the pads on his brakes so they are not worn down to the point that they almost fall off.

The sun, he didn't realize that the sun will be the last time he will ever see the sun in his life as he took that instance for granted, not knowing the future of our lives in ten years or in ten days as Dan only took the thought of doing this job so he can get some sleep and then a couple of hours in on his online video game that is all the rage on an international scale. He didn't know that He will come, the traveler from the past with the uniform and the gold watch that is tucked into his breast pocket. The shoelaces are a little different in the shade of color when everything is coated in black in the night where there is no moon among the atmosphere. It is the beginning of the month and the month is the newfound glow of change as Dan Horlicks became lost within the loving warmth of his mind, thinking of the Bible stories that are rolling along in his head, meeting with his long time fling by the name of Sue Quinn that lives with her little old grandmother at the end of Charlotte Lane. Sue Quinn is a good woman, hoping to go to college so she can indulge herself in the basis of writing so she can hope someday she can be a well-known novelist. Dan didn't mind and either did the future of what it holds. He too has seen too little of it but know too much to talk about it to anyone else. Sue Quinn on the other hand goes way back when they first met in the afterhours of catholic school when Dan is met on the sidewalk when two girls came upon him while reading The Boy That Came Back from Heaven. Dan's nose is stuck in the book when the girl met him with growing discourse about them with both of their hair styles a little disheveled.

"Help our friend, please?" The girl who is later named Carrie Lacy expelled her distress as Dan dropped the book from his prolonged vision that doubled before it singled again.

"She is being cornered by a couple of boys that goes to public school. They look like they are going to start some trouble."

I knew who the public school boys are. Dan inclined to roll his hands into fists.

They are the three boys that liked to jimmy up against the brick walls and waited for the shadows to come upon the sidewalks that is intended to height for the prey that is casually walking their way, waiting for the prey to make a mistake when the prey turns their heads, knowing it is too late when they feel the steamroller roll over their hearts when the fear binds over their eyes to the evils that rumbled through the darkness to see what weak people they are to fork over something that is no longer theirs'; the three boys against the sight of the lord, the three cretins of the fiery depths of hell itself that picks on the meek again.

"O-Okay," Dan stumbled with his heart molding sludge in his chest, being afraid against the evils that are not casted past the bay of safety.

When they arrived at the fencing corner on one lonely street with the sun shining in the sky, he met the three cretins with his back to him as Dan felt like his fingers are going to break from his sockets. The drowning of sweat poured over his forehead as he tried to be the David amongst the pool of Goliaths that are towering in front of him, pushing around a little girl with her books cresting against her breasts like a life-line.

"Her figure sure is fine." One of the boys - whom is the credulous idiot of the bunch giddied like a sufferable idiot as he retracted his elbows to push his weight against the thin-stripped woman with her eyes bugged out with her mind possibly running a thousand miles an hour. Her lips are twitching, her breath is getting close to hyperventilating, and her mind is suffering. The idiot boy pushed him against the masochistic boy, who in turn shifted his weight to the boy that is the ring leader of the band by the name of Weston Vunne with a father that is never around and a mother that likes to shoot up the cotton swab of death in the filter that is always found in the middle of the kitchen table.

Weston grabbed her and tended to do something that made even Dan render shock through his circulatory system when his hand moved down towards the center of her chest, moving on down until it found Dan's voice as Sue Quinn uttered a disgusting plea of help that sounded like a dying rabbit that is caught in the jaws of a coyote.

"Hey!" Dan roared as Weston dropped his hand to his side, turning his head to the voice that never spoke up to him before.

"Why don't you do that to me, you slime."

Weston Vunne continued to look at him with a dead expression while the masochistic boy nudged the idiot boy that brightened up to the instance of connecting two-and-two in his memory. Weston Vunne. What a peace for that boy to even to be breathing right now. Weston continued to stare at him before he started laughing, helping himself by grasping the girl on the arm that would take the world for him to let go.

"Hey, what's the matter slim? Did you run into your momma and sucked on her tit, you a big boy now?" Weston mocked him as the idiot jumped on the balls of his feet like a five-year-old, looking like a mild retarded patient that is locked away in a sanitarium with no family to take care of him.

"Are you going to let her go?" Dan dimmed his eyes down to the point that they no longer register as Weston cocked his head a little, acting like he is thinking in deep thought before he turned his head to him and says:

"Nah, I think you better run on home before we cart you on your way to the hospital." Weston scoffed when he turned his attention to Sue that is crying harder, looking into that despicable face that is smiling in rage as she tries to back away, and moving her arm to break his grip.

"Please...don't!" She cried in despair.

"No, thank you today; maybe I should buy you dinner first." Weston snarled in delight when the light flashed before the pain as Weston flung back against the fence as he placed his hand upon his cheek like it caught him to phase in light for a split second in confusion.

"What the hell?" Weston moved his cheek against his complexion, forgetting Sue Quinn as she ran out of the hell's circle with her skirt jumping to the pumping of her legs. She let go of her cries as she continued to run past her friends towards home, almost dropping her books on the sidewalk as she ran and ran.

A good sign, Dan sighed in his mind.

"Okay, you faggot. You asked for it." Weston flinched his mild muscles as the idiot boy grabbed him by the nape of his hair and hitched him up a little.

"What do we do with him, Wes? What do we do with the little homo here?" He giggled like a boy near the frayed ends of sanity as he pulled harder; feeling like his hair is leaving his body in almost an ounce of pulling that make his hair almost a dream where he has his hand at.

"I know what we do with him; a car ride is first to impress if he has the guts to see where he is going to go that is. But hey, if you don't have the guts then don't tinkle in the trunk or I'll get a straw and make you suck it up." Weston came forward and grabbed Dan by the navel of his shirt. Where he went to, Dan knew as the light continues to burn in the sky before it is snuffed out by the deck lid that closed him in that metal coffin.

The engine started and the green flag is set in the mindset of his thinking as he rocked and rolled in the trunk, almost busting his teeth out on the rim of the donut when the ride took forever as Dan knew he was in a pickle for a very long time now. Stay tuned for more....🦄
