I think it's a biased test because it implies that conservative positions are the heartless ones...

For example, I don't agree with the Iraq war, but if I were to answer that way, it would say I was liberal, when that's not a liberal position at all.

Another question was a choice between helping the homeless and poor and paying down the national debt.....Helping the homeless and poor is the liberal position...(the one with the heart) and paying down the national debt is conservative....Always the heartless position, those conservatives..But isn't this a false choice?

The TRUTH, in real life, is that those claiming to be liberal actually use charities as a way to bilk people out of their money for their own selfish profit and gains. Look no further than the Clinton foundation. The REAL conservative position is that the best way to cure poverty is to bring jobs and industry back to the country. That way, a poor person can earn an income, and more importantly, independence and freedom. He's no longer dependent upon the welfare system for sustenance, which is designed to create dependence because it never allows for growth beyond that...

Conservatives believe in liberation and prosperity and living in abundance, not dependence, enslavement and scarcity....

So which is more moral? Give a man a fish so he may eat for a day or give a man a fishing pole and a heavily stocked lake and ocean so he may eat for a life time?...So that he may earn a living and buy his own fishing boat....

The bias in those questions is that liberalism is moral, ethical and good, whereas conservatism is heartless, cold, cruel and unfeeling....It's the exact opposite in reality.

Other questions like; Should the federal reserve solve inflation or focus on providing jobs?.....just shows that the person asking the question doesn't know what the Federal Reserve is... The function of the Federal reserve is not to create jobs....I mean seriously...Where is that coming from? The Federal Reserve CAUSES inflation. It doesn't prevent inflation. It causes inflation by diluting the money supply/devaluing the currency....But I'm supposed to answer this question that the Federal Reserve should focus on creating jobs, if I don't want to be branded an evil conservative.....

That's not even it's purpose....

I could devise a poll that more resembled reality, and showed a bias towards conservatism as being the moral and ethical political philosophy, whereas liberalism is evil. Oh yes. Two can play at this game.

For example...I could ask:

A. Do you favor causing change in government through instigating violence and race riots, and blaming it on your opponents?

OR

B. Do you support the voting process and the rule of law to cause change?

 
A.  Do you vote for someone because they promise you free stuff?

OR

B. Do you vote for someone because they promise to maximize your freedom?

A. Do you believe it's your right to force others to pay for your healthcare against their will?

OR

B. Do you believe in individual personal responsibility to look after him/herself?



A. Do you believe a person has a right to 100% of the product of their own labor, such as an income in dollars?

OR

B. Do you believe that Big Brother has a right to take that money away against the will of the individual and re-distribute it to those who didn't earn it?


See how we can build bias into questioning?....

In this case, if you answered A. to every question, you'd be a liberal, whereas answer B, would put you into the conservative/libertarian camp.

Which is the more moral positions in these questions? I'd say, the conservative position is more moral, wouldn't you?

Yet, my set of questions more closely represents the current REALITY....not the fantasy...(even if this is the Fantasy Castle)...LOL....
