![]() ![]()   Against a frosted night sky
An opalescent moon snuggles down
Behind robust snow tipped pines
Kissed delicately by winters white
Shivering Shards of ice glimmer like diamonds
Wrapping branches in a shimmering necklace
They sway and dance along frigid waters edge
Mesmerized by moonlights effulgent reflection
Within the cold clutch of wintry night
Moonbeams tiptoe across the icy darkness
As twinkling stars play hide and seek
In the passing shadows of pearlescent clouds
The celestial beauty of nature is infinite
As it is laid to rest with diamonds and pearls
Surrounded in a blanket of complete tranquility
Captivated in sweet dreams of a new dawn breaking

I don’t know how to do all the fancy things here yet with posting, but I gotta tell you, I was there beneath the Snow Moon Delight, and it was heavenly, and you laid me to rest so beautifully with the grace of your last 4 lines... Alana, the spirituality of your celestial vision adorns nature with the diamonds and pearls of the earth Goddess arrayed for the dream of forever. Your poetry sings to me of a world where I long to be and where happiness lies. It reminds me that beauty is all around us if we look. And your smile is written throughout like a celestial rainbow. ;-)

I don't know how to do any of that fancy stuff either Bri...I'm surprised I know as much as I do know about computers and that's from my brother forcing me to learn..which I should be and am grateful for as you have to know computers in today's society but this stuff everyone on here knows how to do....beyond me too. I'm like a grumpy old man at 47. If I had my way I'd probably still be writing with a quill and parchment.
